Royally Bred, Alcatraz “Raz” was born at Show Stop Farm in Texas. At three months old, Raz got a piece of straw in his eye. Everything possible was done to save his vision in that eye but it wasn’t to be. Despite the accident, Raz grew into a beautiful 17-hand body, with great movement and mind. Show Stop Farm’s owner, Nancy Sue Ryan is an all-time leading breeder of hundreds of top-line of Congress, World, NSBA, and Top Ten Championships along with her induction to The NSBA HALL OF FAME. She quotes “He’s a breeding stallion and I love his foals. I hope to breed some of my Good Better Best daughters to him in the future”.

Our Charlie is a legendary vet who has made it happen since 1989 for Ballard Farms and generations of horses and their owners. She was an early pioneer in embryo transfer and more.
